NSW: Another meteorite detected
Investigations are under way into a suspected meteorite which crashed through the roof
of a house at Dunbogan on the New South Wales mid-north coast today.
Police say the unidentified object, measuring about 1 cm, made a sizeable hole when
it hit the house early this morning.
Police say no one in the house was injured.
It was the third incident involving meteorites in six days.
A meteorite the size of a golf ball crashed into a dam at Guyra in northern NSW last
week and on Monday, one blasted through the bedroom of a house in Melbourne.
Emergency services are still at the scene of the latest incident.
