Vote set on school work plan: Stillwater residents weigh $26.6M in spending for projects.

Jun. 17--STILLWATER -- The Stillwater school district's $26.6 million building project headed to voters Tuesday calls for new classrooms, new athletic fields and a new gym.

A second proposition on the ballot for $976,222 would pay for artificial turf and lights on the fields.

The vote is from noon to 9 p.m. in the middle school gym. The Board of Education also that day will announce a new school chief. Superintendent Patrick DiCaprio has served as the interim leader since February when former superintendent Don Flynt left.
