Qld: Check your stars before driving
A study by Queensland insurance company Suncorp Metway has found people born underthe star sign Gemini are the most likely to crash their cars, with Capricornians the leastlikely to have a pile up.
The company says the results showed up in a study of car accident claims over the pastthree years.
But the company says astrology will not be playing any part in the company's premium pricing.
It says in the study period, 14,500 drivers born between May 21 and June 21, with thestar sign Gemini, had crashed their cars.
They were closely followed by Taureans and Pisceans.
Suncorp Metway personal insurance manager WARREN DUKE says while the study is lighthearted, it's interesting that Geminis -- typically described at restless, easily boredand frustrated by things moving slowly -- had more car accidents than any other sign.
Capricornians -- who came last on the list -- are typically described as patient and careful.
Mr DUKE says the study was part of Suncorp Metway's annual review of claims.
